Local sources said that some foreigners have also been killed in the attack in which they say five missile were fired on a house.


The missiles targeted the compound in Dwasarak village, about 40 kilometres west of Wana, the main town in South Waziristan district, a senior Pakistani security official said.  "Two US drones fired four missiles," he said.   Two intelligence officials, one in Wana and one based in Peshawar, also confirmed the attack.

The targeted house was completely damaged.

Nearly 1,000 people have been killed in more than 100 drone strikes in Pakistan since August 2008, including a number of high profile militants.
