SUKKUR: A Daharki judge threw out an FIR against a couple and ordered that they were free to go after the wife testified that she acted out of choice.

On Tuesday, Hindu doctor Sulachni Bai, who eloped with her dispenser Tariq Leghari, converted and married him on December 6, appeared before Daharki’s civil judge Attaullah Shaikh with her husband and Mian Jawed of Bharchoondi Sharif.

The newly named Dr Gul Sana testified that as she acted of her own free will, the question of a kidnapping did not arise. And now that she had become a Muslim, she didn’t want to live with her parents.

Given her statement, the judge ordered the police to quash the FIR that was lodged by her brother. He ruled that the couple should be allowed to live together.

A day after they married, a resident of Qureshi Muhalla in Daharki called Prem Chand lodged a case at Daharki police station against five men including Tariq Leghari and his cousins Shakir Leghari, Allah Diwayo Leghari, Mohammad Ibrahim Leghari and Abdul Rasheed Leghari for what he said was kidnapping his sister.

When they have nobody else to forcefully convert, they will turn on each other, accusing each other of not being muslim enough. But that too happens already.

Soon there won't be anyone left to convert. It's strange, you are converting others to islam yet still killing each other.
