Wapda and HEC will face off against each other in the final of the National Women Handball Championship today. Wapda booked their semi-final berth when they crushed Sindh 27-1. In other matches, Punjab defeated Police 13-6, while Army thrashed Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) 21-0 to conclude the pool matches. The first semi-final then saw Wapda defeating Army 16-4, while HEC won a closely contested game against Punjab 8-7. The event will conclude today with the third position playoff match, which will see Army and Punjab squaring off, besides the final between Wapda and HEC.
