Tech-Savvy: Teachers honoured for using new technologies

The Intel Teach Program has trained more than 306,000 teachers in Pakistan

In recognition of their extraordinary use of information technology skills to impart education, 10 teachers from public and private schools in Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) were awarded medals at the Intel Education Award ceremony.



The Intel Teach Program has trained more than 306,000 teachers in Pakistan and is designed to enable teachers to effectively use technology to enhance students’ learning.

“Outstanding schools and teachers who demonstrate innovative use of technology deserve to be recognised for their efforts to inculcate cutting-edge skills in our students so that they are competitive in the real world,” said Intel Country Manager Naveed Siraj.

The teachers were selected from participants in the Intel Teach Programme contest.
