Handball: K-P thrashed in tournament opener
Were thrashed 24-1 by Punjab in the opening match of the 10th National Women’s Handball Championship.

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) were thrashed 24-1 by Punjab in the opening match of the 10th National Women’s Handball Championship that began yesterday at the Wapda Sports Complex, Lahore, before losing 24-2 to Police. In other matches, HEC defeated Sindh 13-7, Punjab beat Army 13-9 and Wapda brushed aside HEC 26-6.
