Tennis: PTF holds annual meeting

Separate circuits for juniors, men, women and seniors were also approved.

KARACHI:
The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) held its Annual General Meeting in Islamabad yesterday in which the Davis Cup and Fed Cup reports were assessed and a committee was formed to give suggestions for selection of squads for future events. Separate circuits for juniors, men, women and seniors were also approved, while the matter of providing employment to players also came under discussion. Apart from approving a national ranking points system and a tournaments grading system, the PTF also put media gags on players, officials and affiliated units of the body. However, the PTF did not discuss the moving of Pakistan’s Davis Cup tie against Lebanon out of the country.
