Inspector General of NWFP Police Malik Naveed has announced that three investigation teams have been formed to probe the attack on the US Consulate in Peshawar.
Speaking to the media in Peshawar the IG claimed claimed that the security at the consulate was foolproof which is why the attackers failed to enter the compound.
He said that the attackers were wearing black clothes and believes they entered the site from nearby areas. All six attackers were killed in the attack.
The IGP further confirmed that no staff member of the US consulate was killed in the attack.
