AJK president: ‘Lord Nazir not denied entry’

Lord Ahmed is a Kashmiri, by birth, and he can move to and from AJK without any restriction, says AJK President.

MIRPUR (AJK):
Azad Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan reiterated the AJK government’s stance on late Saturday, saying there was no restriction of entry in AJK for Lord Nazir Ahmed, a Kashmiri-origin member of the British parliament’s upper house. “Lord Ahmed is a Kashmiri, by birth, and he can move to and from AJK without any restriction,” Yaqoob said while talking to media in Bagh Town. The AJK president also briefed the media on a number of other issues, including development projects and Pakistan’s nuclear assets, saying that ‘certain external hostile forces’ were seeking to thwart Pakistan’s nuclear programme.
