Hockey: WAPDA, Railways decimate opponents

A goal galore was witnessed on the third day of the 27th National Women’s Hockey Championship as Railways humiliated Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa 24-0 while Wapda thrashed Punjab 16-0. Hina Kanwal scored 11 and Maria Shabbir scored six goals for Railways. Meanwhile, Aisha Bashir scored seven goals for Wapda to give her team a second consecutive win by a 16-goal margin, following their demolition of Balochistan by the same scoreline on Saturday. In other matches, Army outplayed Sindh 13-0, while HEC beat Balochistan 3-0.
