Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl Chief (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman said on Sunday, that former president Pervez Musharraf should be declared a “state criminal,” Express News reported.
While addressing the Dastar-e-Fazilat conference in Sukkur, Rehman also alleged that the establishment was not letting democracy to succeed in the country.
The JUI-F workers vowed, during the conference that they would not let corrupt people win the next election.
Rehman said that the government can no longer get away with false promises and should provide relief to the people on urgent basis.
Earlier in Quetta, Rehman had said that Pakistan should end its strategic partnership with the US.
He had termed the Bonn conference boycott a powerful message to the US. However, he added, “Suspending necessary supplies to Nato forces, boycotting the Bonn conference and not letting Americans use Shamsi Airbase are not permanent decisions.
