Promoting Peace: Rootsians’ tableau wins at competition

Students from Roots School System won a tableau competition on promotion of the culture of non-violence and peace, said a press release issued by the school here on Friday. The competition was organised by the Pakistan Red Crescent Society on the International Volunteer Day and the closing of International Year of Volunteers. The aim of the event was to recognize the significance contribution of volunteers who offered their services in different capacities and encourage people to engage in humanitarian services. Students of various schools participated.
