Children’s rights: K-P to establish orphanage

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government has planned to establish a modern orphanage for children and women of the province. The proposed centre will be equipped with all multifaceted facilities to provide a more conducive living environment to women, said K-P Minister for Social Welfare and Women Development Sitara Ayaz while addressing a consultative seminar here on Saturday. The seminar was organised by the Child Protection & Welfare Commission (CP&WC) in collaboration with UNICEF under the 16-day global campaign on Violence against Women and Children.
