Secp: 248 new companies registered in Nov

210 private companies were registered, 3 foreign companies, 4 non-profits.

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) registered 248 new companies in November, with private companies having the highest share at 210.



Other companies registered during the month included 27 single-member companies, four non-profit associations, three foreign companies and public unlisted companies each and one trade organisation, SECP announced on Thursday.

Of the three foreign companies, one company from Turkey was registered in Lahore while one company each from the US and New Zealand was registered in Islamabad.

The Company Registration Office (CRO) Lahore registered 82 companies followed by CROs in Islamabad and Karachi registering 79 and 55 companies respectively.
