Protest: Prisoner’s family holds demonstration
He said that the police tortured him after he refused to give them bribes.

The family of the prisoner, Shafi Muhammad, who tried to commit suicide in prison, protested in front of Sukkur Press Club on Thursday.
Muhammad said that after he got into an argument with his father-in-law, his brother-in-law framed him for stealing a car. He said that the police tortured him after he refused to give them bribes. Muhammad claimed that they are the ones who tried to set him on fire. The officials at the Pannu Aqil police station, however, have registered a suicide case. He is being treated at the Civil Hospital.
