Compensation: Heirs of target killing victim to be paid
The Supreme Court has directed the Sindh government to pay Rs200,000 to the family of Muhammad Faizan.

The Supreme Court has directed the Sindh government to pay Rs200,000 to the family of Muhammad Faizan, who was killed in a target killing in 2008. Justice Ameer Hani ordered the additional chief secretary to bring a cheque of Rs0.2 million to the court on Thursday. Justice Hani was hearing a case filed by Nasreen. She said that her son, Faizan, was killed in firing on March 31, 2008, in Pak Colony and she still had not received any compensation by the government. According to her, the chief justice took notice of it and issued notices to the chief secretary but the cheque was still not delivered. Justice Hani directed the chief secretary to present the cheque at any cost on Thursday.
