At Crossroads: ‘Urdu University will suffer if VC leaves’

No vice chancellor (VC) has completed his/her turn since 2002 at the university.

The Federal Urdu University will most likely go downhill if the incumbent vice-chancellor leaves prematurely. No vice chancellor (VC) has completed his/her turn since 2002 at the university, but university progressed a lot after Dr Qaiser took charge as VC in 2007, said a press release issued by the faculty members here on Wednesday.

The teachers appealed to the president, chancellor of the university, not to allow Dr Muhammad Qaiser to move to the University of Karachi, and appealed to the Sindh Governor not to consider Dr Qaiser for the University of Karachi.
