Livestock: Farmer loses four buffaloes to poisonous fodder

Farmer alleged that someone intentionally added poison to the fodder.

Four buffaloes of a Daska farmer died on Monday after eating poisonous fodder. Farmer Zeeshan Ashraf, a resident of Kaanwa Lit village, alleged that someone intentionally added poison to the fodder.

He said someone could have broken into his dera after he left. Veterinary experts who examined the buffaloes confirmed that they had died from poison in their feed. Saddar police have registered a case on a complaint filed by the farmer against unidentified suspects.
