Party reactions: PPP leaders threaten to use the ‘Sindh’ card

The PPP leader announced that the party’s Sindh Council would hold a meeting soon to chalk out a decisive strategy.

The workers of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) are worried,” said provincial minister Makhdoom Jameel while reacting to the Supreme Court of Pakistan’s judgments and their effect on his party. “They still remember what the judiciary did to Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto.”



He added that the people of Sindh would not tolerate any decision which was forced upon them. Jameel and other leaders of the PPP’s Hyderabad division said that they were being forced to play the ‘Sindh’ card. The PPP leader announced that the party’s Sindh Council would hold a meeting soon to chalk out a decisive strategy on how to counter attacks made against the government.
