Rules of the road: Man killed in road accident
A speeding car hit and killed a man on Islamabad Expressway on Sunday while he was trying to cross the road.
ISLAMABAD:
A speeding car hit and killed a man on Islamabad Expressway on Sunday while he was trying to cross the road. Manzoor Hussain, 65, was trying to cross the five-lane highway near Zia Masjid when he was trapped in front of a speeding car which hit and caused severe injuries. Hussain was shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims), where he died. Passersby held the driver of the car that hit him and handed him over to the Koral police. The police said a case was registered against the driver, Aftar, and it was being ascertained if he or the deceased pedestrian was at fault.
