Cricket: We’ve put the England tour behind us says Dravid

India batsman Rahul Dravid believes that the team have put their nightmare tour of England behind them and expects a good show in the upcoming series against Australia, according to espnstar.com.

The Australia tour will be the first away series for India since the England debacle, where the hosts won both the Test and One-Day International series. However, having done well in the subsequent home series against England, as well as West Indies, expectations from India will be high.

“The England tour was a huge disappointment for us and there were fitness problems too,” said Dravid. “We could’ve done better there.

“However, that’s history. The tour Down Under gives us another opportunity. Hopefully, we’ll have a full-strength side and will do well there.”

Gentlemen: Cricket is about planning and mental toughness. It's a challenge for the batsmen and bowlers as well. Players with strong will usually survive. Just look at Rahul Dravid, the 38 years Indian, who knows how to defend his wicket.
