A viral video shows Kick streamer Johnny Somali, known for his provocative actions, being assaulted by South Korean YouTuber Yoo Dal-geun.

The incident occurred on a street in Seoul's Songpa District, where Yoo, a former Underwater Demolition Team (UDT) soldier, confronted Somali—whose real name is Ramsey Khalid Ismael. Seoul Songpa Police Precinct confirmed Yoo's arrest following reports at around 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, and Somali was treated for minor injuries.

The video has sparked discussions online as Somali has recently faced mounting criticism for his controversial content. Known for actions deemed offensive during his time in South Korea, he was recently seen performing a lewd dance in front of Seoul’s Statue of Peace, a symbol commemorating wartime sexual slavery victims, further inflaming public opinion.

His YouTube channel was taken down earlier this week after allegedly broadcasting explicit material, though Somali claims his account was hacked.

As the backlash continues, Somali has faced confrontations, including being struck during a livestream on Oct. 24 and assaulted again during a broadcast with Yoo Heon-jong, a controversial figure in U.S. online communities. Within South Korea, Somali is often referred to as the “golden goblin,” with his presence sparking significant engagement across social media platforms.
