While some of us sat in our sweats this Sunday, powerhouses Kim Kardashian, Heidi Klum and Selena Gomez put on gorgeous gold dresses for the Grammys. Jennifer Lopez looked spectacular in all her sparkling, silver mini dress glory and it definitely seems like bling is going nowhere this season. Nicki Minaj, on the other hand, decided to don a cheetah print, leggings and skirt combo that made cheetahs all over Africa loathe their own skin. Why, why, why, won’t Nicki leave the weird dressing to Lady Gaga? On the musical front, it was Kanye West who managed to snatch up the most nominations at the Grammys than fan favorite Adele reported The Guardian.
Besides the Grammys hoopla, drama was high in the lives of NBA Player Kris Humphrey and Kim Kardashian. They continued to juice more promotion from their impending divorce. Kris Humphrey decided to play his ‘I-got-duped-by-Kim’ card. A according to TMZ, his religious beliefs go against the concept of divorce, so he’s asking the judge for an annulment of their 10-week marriage.
While Kim and Kris continued to fight, the once head-shaving, baby-popping, drug abusing, girly parts exposing pop princess, Britney Spears, said hello to the big 3-0 on Friday. And surprise, surprise, she celebrated without doing any of the above mentioned activities. Now Britney’s days are spent taking her kids to the beach, releasing hit after hit, and touring sold out concerts.
It wasn’t just Hollywood that was steaming to the top with hot news. Actor Vidya Balan decided to get dirtier with her Times of India interview with Madhureeta Mukherjee. When Mukherjee inquired about whom she’d love to get down and dirty with, the “uninhibited” actor coyly said “a certain SRK”. Somehow, shedding clothes for women is the only way to show you’re uninhibited. Her three tips for seducing a guy, “Just look at him. Don’t talk. And you won’t even need the other two tips.”
Balan wasn’t the only one willing to share some secrets. While promoting Karan Johar’s Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu with actor Imran Khan, Kareena Kapoor decided to flaunt her relationship with Saif Ali Khan. According to Times of India, when asked who her hero numero uno was, she said, “I may be having a great working relationship with the Khans, but the only hero no 1 for me is Saif.”
