United Nation organisations urged communities in Pakistan to show support for the disabled.
ISLAMABAD:
United Nation organisations urged communities in Pakistan to show support for the disabled and work for their integration into the political, social, economic and cultural realms of country. In a statement issued for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, United Nations Educational, Scientificand Cultural Organization and United Nations Children’s Fund called for encouraging disabled people to take an active role in the development process.
