Misappropriation: Dr Naeem wants to pay what he owes
He told the court that he had already submitted a request for a settlement to NAB.

Dr Majid Naeem on Saturday submitted an application in an accountability court seeking the court’s help in getting his car back from NAB authorities. He told the court that he had already submitted a request for a settlement to NAB indicating that he was ready to pay back the Rs2.8 million rupees he is accused of misappropriating from the Punjab University College of Information Technology. Naeem told the court that he would sell his car to raise the amount. “But my car, in which I was arrested, was confiscated by NAB,” he said. Meanwhile, the court extended his physical remand till December 7. On November 21 the court had granted NAB a physical remand till December 5. Since December 5 is a public holiday, NAB authorities produced him in court on Saturday to seek a new hearing date. The court extended the remand by two days.
