Development: Labour minister promises funds

LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Labour Haji Ehsaanud Din Qureshi has said that the government will provide funds for the completion of all ongoing development projects launched by Labour Department.

Talking to a delegation of workers, Qureshi said that new welfare schemes would also be initiated especially for the provision of residential facilities for labourers and modern education for their children. He added that free education along with books, stationery, uniforms and transport were already being provided for 28,000 children of workers in 46 workers’ welfare schools of the province.
