Football: Asif’s brace downs PMC Athletico

KARACHI: NBP defeated PMC Athletico 2-0 in their Pakistan Premier Football League match held in Faisalabad yesterday. Mohammad Asif scored a brace in the first-half alone to set up a comfortable victory for his team. Asif’s opening goal came as early as the second minute of the match, while he added a second four minutes before the interval. NBP climbed up to seventh place in the league with 41 points following the win, while Athletico occupy 14th position with 24 points.
