Gsis: Annual sports week culminates in a colourful finale
Students from class I to V displayed “Kung Fu”, aerobics and various sports items.
The GSIS primary school’s annual sports week culminated at a colourful finale on Tuesday, said a press release issued by the school. Students from class I to V displayed “Kung Fu”, aerobics and various sports items. The theme of the day was “Olympic Games”. A very informative presentation of ancient medieval and modern Olympics was displayed. A group of children dressed up in ancient Greek dresses showed how the games were done in the ancient times. The transformation from ancient to modern Olympic styles was highly appreciated the large gathering of parents. The PT display was done in the formation of the Olympic rings and was very well-coordinated. Little girls of class I to III displayed aerobics. Their beautiful and well-timed movements got them a thunderous applause from the spectators.
The pick of the show was the Kung Fu performance by the students of class-I. Six-year olds, in red Kung Fu dresses, looked determined and showed their prowess with smart movement.
