Murder: No headway in tracing Bucha’s killers
Bucha was shot outside the main gate of his house by three unidentified men.

Alba police have yet to make headway in the investigation of the killing of Pakistan Peoples Party Punjab council member Malik Sher Ali Bucha. Bucha was shot outside the main gate of his house by three unidentified men. He was taken to Nishtar Hospital where he died. Alba police suspect family rivalry over property to be the motive behind Butcha’s murder. Talking to The Express Tribune, Alba police SHO said Bucha family members were involved in several land disputes. He said police were investigating the murder and expected to arrest some suspects soon. Eyewitnesses claimed that Bucha had just reached home when the attack took place. They said the attackers were riding two motorcycles and used a 30-bore pistol to shoot Bucha.
