Death by rejection: Man commits suicide by burning himself
Man used to fight, often beat his wife & children. Failing to convince them to return home, he set himself on fire.
KARACHI:
A man committed suicide by burning himself in Manzoor Colony on Tuesday, when his wife refused to return home after a quarrel.
The wife alleged that the deceased not only fought with her, but occasionally beat her and their children which led her to move out. The man visited her parent’s house on Tuesday to convince her to come back but upon her refusal, went back home dejected and set himself on fire after drenching himself in kerosene.
He was admitted at a government hospital in critical condition but passed away on Wednesday morning. The police registered a FIR at the Baloch Colony police station.
