The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has distributed 2.5 million ration packs, 120,460 tents, 40,000 blankets, 105,000 mosquito nets and 9.5 million water-purification tablets among the flood-ravaged people of Sindh. According to a spokesman, the NDMA has also distributed 10,000 bottles of mosquito repellent, 17 water purification units, 1,000,000 hygiene and sanitation tablets, 10 boats, 8,000 water coolers, 35,000 plastic sheets and 10,000 buckets.
