Job Status: Committee to deliberate fate of 25,000 workers
Committee formed to issue decision regarding the regularisation of appointments for daily wage employees.
FAISALABAD:
The chief minister has constituted a committee headed by MNA Khawaja Muhammad Asif to decide the fate of over 25,000 daily wage employees in Punjab.
A committee has been formed to issue a decision regarding the regularisation of appointments for daily wage employees made prior to September 30, 2011. The committee will deliberate over regularising employees in all provincial administrative departments including autonomous and semi autonomous bodies.
The committee has been asked to for its recommendations. Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has given the committee a 30 day deadline to complete the task.
