Cricket: Gujranwala crowned street champions

Gujranwala Pehlwans defeated Lahore Leopards to win the Sprite Cricket Next 2011 competition, according to a press release from the organisers. The Pehlwans received a cash prize of Rs0.4 million along with other rewards offered by the sponsors of the event. Apart from the two finalists, city champions representing Karachi, Hyderabad, Rahim Yar Khan, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Sukkur also took part in the qualifying rounds.
