The samples are dispatched to NFSA laboratory and after conducting tests they are sent back to agencies concerned,” an official said. The Australian government has provided a Genetic Analyser Machine worth $250,000 to NFSA to enhance their forensic capacity and to combat crimes. Specialised training will also be provided to officers of the agency as part of a Forensic Biology and DNA course in Australia.
