VC’s Appointment: YDA, secy didn’t meet … on Sunday

LAHORE: A Health Department spokesman has said that Young Doctors Association (YDA) office bearers did not call on Health Secretary Mohammad Jehanzeb Khan on Sunday, as reported in the press, concerning the appointment of a full time vice chancellor at King Edward Medical University. YDA office bearers said they had met the health secretary and given him a presentation on Thursday. Asked if the meeting had taken place on Thursday, the Health Department spokesman refused to comment.
