Karachi beat Multan by five runs in a closely-contested match of the under-19 National Women’s Twenty20 Championship. Electing to bat first, Karachi put up 99 for seven as Umaima Sohail top-scored with 24 runs. In reply, Multan were restricted to 94 despite losing just three wickets. Sohail was named player of the match. In another fixture, Faisalabad scored 142 against Islamabad. In a close finish, Islamabad finished just four runs shy of the target. Meanwhile, Lahore claimed an eight-wicket win over Peshawar as they chased down the required target of 71 with 20 balls to spare.
