Conference: Lack of strategy to protect resources
Says Federal Urdu University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr Muhammad Qaiser.

The country’s natural resources are being destroyed rapidly and a strategy to protect them have yet to be formed, said Federal Urdu University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr Muhammad Qaiser. He was addressing the inauguration ceremony of a three-day conference organised by the department of botany in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission. He was of the view that certain resources must be exploited for the country’s prosperity and development. A lack of knowledge among the masses was also a factor leading towards population growth. Prof. Dr Mudassir Israr said that there was a shortage researchers who could help development and he advised teachers and students to focus on research.
