Dead or alive: Kotli police nab proclaimed offender
Police claimed to have rounded up a notorious PO Naseem alias ‘Saleem’ bearing Rs400,000 head money.

Kotli Loharaan police claimed to have rounded up a notorious proclaimed offender (PO) Naseem alias ‘Saleem’ bearing Rs400,000 head money. According to Saddar District Superintendent Police (DSP) Mueen Buttar told reporters that the accused had received regular militancy training from several defunct militant organisations and had already admitted to having close links with several militant organisations. Buttar said that the accused had killed three police officials including a sub inspector, besides killing three other persons near Kotli Loharaan several years ago. The police received a tip-off to Saleem’s location a few days ago and a special police party headed by Inspector Sabir Chatta raided a den near Jalalpur Jattan and arrested the accused. Gujranwala RPO Ahmed Mubarak Ahmed announced cash prizes and appreciation certificates for the raiding police party.
