The Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) Women Sports Gala will commence at Qayyum Sports Complex on Monday, Fata Sports Director Faisal Jamil said on Saturday.
He said that all the arrangements for the event have been finalised, adding that Fata Education Director Fazal-e-Manan be the chief guest on the occasion.
A number of sports activities, such as table tennis, badminton, basketball, athletics and volleyball will be played during the event, which will conclude on November 30. “This is the first time that the Fata Sports Directorate is organising an event for women,” said Jamil.
