Judge tells SHO to produce FIR in wife abduction case on November 28
Petitioner Mohammad Bilal argued that the SHO had not complied to the court's orders to register an FIR in the case.
LAHORE:
An Additional District & Sessions Judge on Saturday directed SHO Mustafabad to produce the copy of an FIR which had been filed against eight people allegedly involved in abducing the petitioner’s wife, before November 28.
Petitioner Muhammad Bilal had filed a petition for compliance of court order in AD&S Judge Muhammad Sheraz Kiani’s court contending that SHO Mustafabad was deferring to register a case against accused Muhammad Rafique, Anayat, Muhammad Aslam, Abdurehman, Siddique, Sharif and Noor Muhammad despite the court orders.
It is pertinent to mention that in an earlier hearing of the same case, the judge had directed the concerned SHO to register case against the accused for abducting Bilal’s wife, Fatima Bibi. However, the SHO was yet to comply with the order.
Bilal contended that the accused held a grudge against Bilal since he had registered a number of cases against them. His wife’s abduction, he argued, was part of this.
