Pollution: Dry fruit shop owner warned

The Environment Protection Department served warning notice to a man on Friday after receiving information that he was running a peanut processing plant in a residential area. EPD officials said that the owner of a dry fruit shop in Badami Bagh used to peel and roast peanuts, which spread pollution in the area. Residents of the area had complained against him and so the department had given him a warning.
