Zainab and her nephew were remanded into police custody for seven days by Justice Ahmed Ali Sheikh on Friday.
The Shah Faisal Colony police claim that the woman killed her second husband with the help of her nephew Zaheer on Thursday. They added that the woman had planned to cook parts of the body and then throw them away. The woman confessed to killing her husband and said that he had tried to molest her 18-year-old daughter from her first marriage. The police registered a case under section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code and section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act.
