Sikh Pilgrims: ‘Pakistan keen to protect interests’

Syed Asif Hashmi said that Pakistan is keen to protect the interests of Sikh pilgrims.

Pakistan’s Evacuee Trust Property Board Chairman Syed Asif Hashmi said that Pakistan is keen to protect the interests of Sikh pilgrims from India, as well as Pakistan’s Sikh population, reported Express 24/7. Talking to the media upon his arrival in New Delhi, Hashmi said that Pakistan had done most of the work on the Kartarpur Corridor project and the ball is now in India’s court. Under the project, Kartarpur Corridor will allow Sikh pilgrims from India to visit the Kartarpur Sahib shrine without a visa.
