Tying the knot: 104 couples married off

UMARKOT: The collective wedding ceremony of 104 Muslim and non-Muslim couples belonging to rain-affected families was held here Tuesday night at Police Lines, Umarkot. Sindh Assembly Speaker Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, MPA Nawab Temoor Talpur and notables of the area in a large number attended the ceremony. The couples included 59 Muslim and 45 non-Muslims, hailing from different communities. The Haji Abdul Rauf of Khuwaja Gharib Nawaz Welfare Trust arranged the ceremony and dowries.
