Step Treatment: Pregnant woman killed over property
Step-son Shahbaz tortured and forced her to miscarry as he did not want to share his father’s property.
FAISALABAD:
A youth killed his pregnant step mother for property in the limits Mamonkanjan police station on Wednesday evening. According to the police, Chak No 299GB resident Hasni Bibi married Zahoor Ahmad. Hasni was pregnant but Zahoor’s son Shahbaz tortured Hasni Bibi and forced her to miscarry before beating her with a stick because he did not want to share his father’s property. Hasni Bibi was taken to the hospital by her neighbours but died on the way. Hasni Bibi’s body has been sent to the morgue for an autopsy. Police have also registered a case against the accused.
