A young man was killed, while a father and son sustained serious bullet injuries during a clash between two rival groups on Wednesday.
According to the police, Ali Akbar and Farasat had been involved in a land dispute for several years. On Wednesday morning, Farasat forced his way into Ali Akbar’s house and opened indiscriminate fire on his family. Ali Akbar and his son Sher Afzal received serious bullet injuries. Farasat was shot dead when Akbar returned fire. District Superintendent Police (DSP) Saleem Sadiq registered a case under Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
