Multan Region defeated Islamabad Region by 22 runs in the first match of Pool A in the National Under-19 Women T20 Cricket Championship at the Country Club Ground, Muridke, yesterday. After electing to bat, Multan put up 123 for four in their allotted overs. Kiran Irshad top-scored with 28 while Najma scored 19. In reply, Islamabad were restricted to 101 for four. Nazish Akram scored 25 while Saba Samual remained unbeaten on 23 in the unsuccessful run-chase.
