Kidnapping: Protest against boy’s murder
Jhang Bazaar resident 15-year-old Bilal Ahmad was murdered by his kidnappers two days ago.

Hundreds of traders and shopkeepers have closed their shops and staged a demonstration in front of the Jhang Bazaar police station on Tuesday to protest the murder of a kidnapping victim.
According to the protesters, Jhang Bazaar resident 15-year-old Bilal Ahmad was murdered by his kidnappers two days ago.
The traders burnt old tyres and blocked traffic for hours. The protesters blamed the police for the worsening law and order situation and said that the local administration needed to conduct an inquiry into police department workings. Ahmad was abducted when he was going to his teacher’s house for tuition on November 17.
The kidnappers contacted his father Javed and demanded Rs3 million as ransom for the release of the minor.
