Cycling: Ali claims national record
Ali claimed his second successive national record in two days at the 59th National Cycling Championship.

Wapda’s Sabir Ali claimed his second successive national record in two days at the 59th National Cycling Championship by winning the 40km Individual Road Time Trial event in 52 minutes and 42.25 seconds. The Tour de Pakistan champion had also made a national record on the first day of the championship in the four km event. Ali remains at the top of the championship table with 60 points. “I’m aiming to win the Rawalpindi-Murree Championship next month,” Ali told The Express Tribune. “I also want to perform well at the Asian Cycling Championship.”
