Though four months have elapsed since the monsoon rains, several villages in Badin, including Fakir Haji Dino, Umrani and Haji Mattaro, are still submerged and their inhabitants are still displaced. They have approached officials in the irrigation department several times and asked for the stagnant water to be removed, but nothing has been done about this.
