LAHORE: Wahab Riaz was the only casualty in the Test squad as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) named all three squads for the tour of Bangladesh comprising one Twenty20, three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and two Tests.
Riaz, who has also been overlooked for the limited-overs leg of the UAE series, was replaced by Mohammad Talha who made his Test debut in 2009. Riaz, whose name was mentioned in the spot-fixing hearing, was part of the Test squad for the series against Sri Lanka but did not play any matches.
The squads were announced by acting chief selector Mohammad Ilyas in Lahore yesterday, who confirmed that no changes were made to the limited-overs squad that is currently in the UAE.
“The selection committee is content with the team’s performance in the UAE and we are not considering Bangladesh an easy opponent and are sticking with the same combination,” said Ilyas.
Pakistan will depart for Bangladesh directly from the UAE on November 25 with the tour starting with the one-off Twenty20 on November 29 followed by the three ODIs. Misbahul Haq, who has yet to lose a Test series as captain since taking over last year, will lead Pakistan in all three formats.

Selectror Ilyas (the father-in-law) and Imran Farhat (son-in-law) get a job together and get out of job together.
Believe me there is no need of Sarfraz Ahmad in ODIs. Umar Akmal can keep the stumps.
Wahab Riaz; clear him or convict him. Why leave matters in the hands of alien courts or council? Do not believe, this hibernation is healthy for his morale or Pakistan cricket.
Where is Muhammad Yousif . He has an Average of over 50 and 25 Centuries in tests. He can be a very useful player in Test Matches. Look at Indian team they have all experience players in their Test eleven. Yousif is one of the best test batsman this country has produced yet he has been ignored constantly.
They have Adnan Akmal and Sarfaraz in the wrong teams clearly. Although Adnan Akmal has batted and kept very well but his batting is made for the ODIs while Sarfaraz is a much better keeper and his batting more suited to the longer version, i.e. Test matches.

The bad news is, Farhat will further consolidate his position against weak Bangladeshi attack.

Very right. Why the hell Imran Farhat is in the squad. he seems to have big PARCHI. He is same as he was ten years back.
Tanvir Ahmed should be recalled. He was omitted from the team without any proper reason. He is still better than Sohail Tanvir. Sad that we ignore deserving players for unknown reasons. Misbah should recall him as his record was outstanding in all chances he was given.
Why the hell does Imran Farhat make it to the playing eleven....
